Staff Pharmacist - Specialty Pharmacy (New York City, NY)

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist for a Specialty Pharmacy in New York City. This full-time, temp-to-perm position requires a pharmacist who is ready to take on a key role in a high-volume environment.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Thursday off) or every other Sat and Thursday off

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC)
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff
• Ensure strict compliance with all professional policies and procedures
• Oversee all activities related to dispensing medications
• Accurately fill prescriptions, verifying instructions from prescribing practitioners

Requirements:

• Current and active NY State Pharmacist license with no negative history
• Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy required
• MUST have experience working in a high-volume environment (800+ prescriptions per day)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Working Conditions:

• Constant standing or walking is required
• Manual dexterity needed for sustained periods

Salary:

• Up to $60/hour
