We are seeking a skilled and motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our team on a per diem basis, working every Saturday from 9am to 2pm. Key Responsibilities:

• Pharmacy Operations: Perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) and ensure all activities related to dispensing medications are completed accurately.
• Team Supervision: Oversee pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff to maintain high standards of practice.
• Medication Dispensing: Verify prescription instructions from practitioners and dispense medications according to professional guidelines.
• Compliance: Adhere to all standardized professional policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• License: Current, active NY State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy is required; Pioneer Rx experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• New Grads: Recent graduates will be considered.

Working Conditions:

• Physical Demands: Requires constant standing or walking. Manual dexterity is necessary for sustained periods.
