Staff Pharmacist- Sterile Compounding

Job Title: Staff Pharmacist Sterile Compounding (Home Infusion)

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist for a full-time position specializing in sterile compounding at a home infusion facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role is essential for ensuring the highest quality of care for patients, particularly in sterile compounding, home infusion, and hospital inpatient settings.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Rotating every fourth weekend

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile intravenous (IV) medications
• Verify and review orders, ensuring accuracy in the preparation of compounded prescriptions.
• Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through safe and effective medication use.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current and active Oklahoma pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hospital inpatient or home infusion experience.
• Experience in sterile compounding is rpreferred.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.

State Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.
• Active Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Familiarity with state and federal pharmacy regulations and laws.
