Staff Pharmacist - Travel Contract - Alaska

RPh on the Go is hiring a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week travel contract in the picturesque state of Alaska. This assignment offers the unique experience of working in a close-knit community with beautiful surroundings.

Position: Staff Pharmacist
Location: Alaska
Term: 13+ Week Travel Contract
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday

Duties:

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness, resolving any issues with prescribers and documenting all clinical activities.
• Verify finished prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and maintaining required documentation.
• Provide clear, accurate patient counseling on medication use, indications, and expected outcomes.
• Conduct chart reviews for refills, medication therapy management, and make recommendations to providers.

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist License in Any State (AK preferred)
• 2+ years experience in Retail or Outpatient pharmacy
