We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Staff Pharmacist to join our team and work day shifts.

Job Description:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the best pharmaceutical care. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising on drug interactions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This is a full-time position with day shift hours, offering you a consistent schedule and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate therapy.
  • Provide medication counseling to residents and their families.
  • Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy experience.
  • LTC experience a plus.
  • NC pharmacy license.
