Sterile Compounding Pharmacist - 8+ Weeks - Brockway, PA
RPh on the go is actively seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in the Brockway, PA area. This is a full time position, working 32+ hours per week.
Overview:
- Provide pharmacy services to skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities.
- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions and proper administration.
- Recommend drug therapy changes or alternative agents to physicians and/or nursing staff when necessary.
- Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from accredited university
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge and ability to use computers and related technology efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exemplary communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Acute awareness of and ability to adapt to dynamic customer service needs
