RPh on the go is actively seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in the Brockway, PA area. This is a full time position, working 32+ hours per week.

Overview:

  • Provide pharmacy services to skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities.
  • Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions and proper administration.
  • Recommend drug therapy changes or alternative agents to physicians and/or nursing staff when necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from accredited university
  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers and related technology efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exemplary communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Acute awareness of and ability to adapt to dynamic customer service needs
