We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a contract position in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Responsibilities:

• Medication Management: Review, interpret, and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. Prepare and dispense medications according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Patient Education: Provide medication counseling and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication usage, potential side effects, and compliance.
• Collaborative Care: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapy and promote patient safety.
• Clinical Services: Perform clinical assessments, therapeutic drug monitoring, and medication regimen reviews to identify and resolve medication-related problems.
• Adverse Event Reporting: Document and report adverse drug reactions, medication errors, and other medication-related incidents as required.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in the state of North Carolina
• Recent sterile compounding experience.
