Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (Full-Time)


About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join a dynamic team at a new facility in Plant City, Florida. This site is part of a well-established, closed-door specialty mail-order 503b pharmacy, with its main office in West Palm Beach. The Plant City location will focus on compounding specialized medications, including weight-loss drugs, hormone replacement therapies, anti-aging treatments, and other customized pharmaceutical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sterile compounding, particularly with injectable and powdered forms, and a commitment to overseeing high-quality production. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the team at a new site with the potential for growth and long-term success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team of pharmacists, pre-production, cleanroom, and post-production staff.
  • Ensure strict adherence to cGMP guidelines and contribute to the documentation and management of batch records.
  • Conduct reviews of production documentation and perform quality assurance checks.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy laws.
  • Take part in managing employee relations, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, in collaboration with leadership.
  • Support the completion of Adverse Drug Event forms and other required reporting.
  • Perform compounding of pharmaceuticals as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacist license in Florida.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile compounding.
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience in a pharmacy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in sterile compounding.
