Sterile Compounding Pharmacist - Newark, New Jersey

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy in Newark, New Jersey. As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing sterile medications to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile medications following aseptic technique and compliance with USP <797> standards.
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Compounding and labeling sterile preparations in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of sterile products.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to address medication-related questions and concerns.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks in the compounding area.
• Maintain accurate records of compounded medications.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with compounding best practices and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.

Requirements:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
