Sterile Compounding Pharmacist - Virginia

RPh on the Go, a premier pharmacy staffing agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist for a Home Infusion Pharmacy in Alexandria, VA . This is a fantastic opportunity for an Virginia licensed pharmacist to work 20-35 hours a week while delivering exceptional patient care in a Home Infusion Pharmacy environment.

Term of assignment: 13-Weeks -

Shifts: 1^st, Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:30 pm.

Job Duties:

• Processing Medications and Order Verification
• Infusion Coordination and Scheduling management: Making sure the IVs are compounded and ready to go, as well as the Infusion suites schedules are prepared for nurses and Patients
• Coordination and Management of Technicians
• Pharmacy intake responsibilities on the Front end

Required:

• Active and unrestricted Virginia Pharmacist License
• 3+ years minimum Pharmacist Experience
• 1+ years practicing in a Sterile Compounding environment (Home Infusion, Hospital, etc.)
• Previous High-Volume Pharmacy experience (preferred)
• Previous Management experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of USP-797
