Duration: 13+ Weeks (Contract Assignment)
Shift: Monday Friday | 11:00 AM 7:30 PM
Weekend Rotation: As required by facility operations

Position Overview:
We are seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician with hands-on experience in IV sterile compounding to support a high-volume pharmacy operation in Windsor Mill. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patient safety through the preparation of sterile medications and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Core Responsibilities:

• Compound sterile IV medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

• Maintain and sanitize cleanroom and compounding areas following USP 797 protocols

• Process prescription orders with accuracy and efficiency

• Support inventory control and ensure necessary supplies are stocked

• Assist with the preparation and restocking of emergency drug kits for long-term care clients

• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate pharmacy records

• Communicate professionally with internal teams and facility staff

• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and safety procedures

• Be prepared to work weekends or holidays as needed based on demand

Requirements:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Maryland

• At least 2 years of recent sterile compounding experience (IV required)

• Knowledge of USP 797 cleanroom standards

• Prior experience in a long-term care or institutional pharmacy is preferred

• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
