Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician 4-Week Contract in Fishers, IN

We are currently hiring a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a short-term, full-time assignment in Fishers, Indiana. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on sterile compounding experience who thrive in cleanroom environments and are passionate about precision and patient safety.

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 4 Weeks

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Key Duties Include:

• Aseptic preparation of IVs, TPNs, and injectable medications in strict compliance with USP <797> and <800>

• Working within ISO Class 5 cleanroom conditions

• Maintaining detailed compounding logs, batch records, and proper labeling

• Calculating and measuring ingredients accurately before preparation

• Following SOPs for environmental control, gowning, and sanitation

• Assisting with inventory, equipment calibration, and QA procedures

• Supporting pharmacists in inspection readiness and compliance tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (must be in good standing)

• Minimum 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience in a cleanroom or IV room

• Sterile compounding certification from an ACPE or PTCB recognized program

• Strong working knowledge of USP <797> and <800>

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
