Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Cleveland, Ohio

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding
Location: Cleveland, OH

Environment: Inpatient Hospital

Job Duties:

• Assist pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation, and distribution of medications and sterile products for patient administration.
• Prepare unit dose medications, IV admixtures, parenteral nutrition, floor stock pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, and manage other defined systems.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements:

• Inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Sterile Compounding experience.
• Hazardous drug handling experience is a plus.
• Experience with Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).
• Active Ohio pharmacy technician license.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) national certification.
