Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Contract to Hire Full Benefits)

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join a specialty pharmacy specializing in sterile compounding infusions. This 13+ week assignment offers the potential for direct hire, depending on performance. Your primary role will involve prescription filling and pharmacy operations, with occasional sterile compounding as needed.

Core Responsibilities:

• Accurately pack and fill prescriptions for specialty medications.
• Perform data entry and manage billing tasks.
• Support pharmacy intake processes and provide excellent patient care.

Work Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
• No weekend shifts.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Virginia Pharmacy Technician License.
• Certified by the PTCB (Virginia state requirement).
• At least 1 2 years of experience in sterile compounding or infusion pharmacy..
• Prior experience in specialty or home infusion pharmacy is preferred.
