Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Day Shift | Windsor Mill, MD

Are you a skilled IV Pharmacy Technician with a passion for precision and patient safety? RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dependable Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week contract in Windsor Mill, Maryland. If you thrive in a fast-paced, Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy environment and bring a strong foundation in USP 797 sterile compounding, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound sterile IV medications in a Class 100 clean room following USP 797 standards

• Accurately fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision

• Perform daily and weekly cleaning protocols in sterile compounding areas

• Manage and enter data related to prescriptions and facility communications

• Handle Long Term Care orders with accuracy and attention to detail

• Maintain and track compounding equipment and inventory

• Restock and perform safety checks in IV preparation areas

• Assist in the replenishment of Emergency Drug Kits for LTC clients

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company protocols

• Support the pharmacy team with other duties as assigned

• Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements:

• Maryland Pharmacy Technician License (active and in good standing)

• Minimum 2 years of recent IV Sterile Compounding experience

• Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in Long Term Care

• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and best practices in compounding
