Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Inpatient Hospital

RPh on the Go is seeking a Pharmacy Technician with sterile compounding and inpatient hospital experience for a full-time contract-to-hire role in Illinois. This position is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital clean room environment and grow into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding in a clean room setting

• Prepare medications using aseptic techniques

• Maintain sterility, safety, and compliance in accordance with hospital and USP guidelines

• Support pharmacy team with inventory control and documentation

• Collaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery

Qualifications:

• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (active and in good standing)

• National PTCB Certification (required)

• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (required)

• Sterile compounding experience (required)

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow sterile technique protocols

Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Weekends: Rotating weekends required

• Duration: 13 weeks with potential for direct hire
