RPh on The Go is actively hiring a Maryland-licensed Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week full-time contract opportunity. This role offers a great chance to apply your sterile compounding expertise in a professional and supportive long-term care pharmacy environment.

Assignment Length:
Start ASAP 13+ week contract

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM 7:30 PM, with rotating weekend shifts as business needs arise.

Work Setting:
Sterile Compounding / Long-Term Care

Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician will support the pharmacist in preparing sterile compounded medications, processing prescriptions, and performing data entry, all in strict compliance with applicable regulatory standards.

Key Duties:
Maintain a sterile cleanroom environment in compliance with USP 797
Compound sterile medications under pharmacist direction in a Class 100 clean room
Process and fill prescriptions accurately
Manage Long Term Care medication orders and restock Emergency Drug Kits
Complete data entry and assist with pharmacy calls
Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment for the IV department
Conduct safety checks and support quality assurance measures
Comply with HIPAA regulations and immediately address any concerns
Adhere to all safety, attendance, and dress code guidelines
May require overtime, weekend, and holiday coverage
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years recent IV Sterile Compounding experience
Prior pharmacy experience required
