Sterile Compounding Tech- Houston TX- Temp to Perm

We have an exciting opportunity located in the Houston, Texas area for sterile compounding pharmacy technicians. This has the potential to be a temporary to permanent position for the ideal candidate. The work is not with IV’s but with other sterile medications.

Job Duties:
 

• Responsible for the compounding of medications according to doctors specifications by using raw chemicals and commercially available prescriptions.
• Overseeing the compounding lab under the direction of the pharmacist
• Supports the pharmacy team by helping compound, stock, assemble, and distribute medications

Required: 

• Pharmacy technician license in the state of Texas
• Sterile compounding experience or a strong background in non-sterile compounding 
• Sterile compounding certification
• PTCB preferred
