Surgical Hospital Staff Pharmacist Michigan

A surgical specialty hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join their inpatient pharmacy team for a 2-month assignment. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, highly clinical environment with direct patient care responsibilities and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:30am 6:00pm
Every other Saturday required
Flexibility is essential shifts may extend later into the evening depending on surgical volume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-op and inpatient medications

• Support operating room and ICU medication needs

• Participate in codes

• Perform sterile compounding duties

• Collaborate with clinical teams and contribute to direct patient care

Requirements:

• Active and clear Michigan Pharmacist license

• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

• Sterile compounding competency

• Clinical background in surgery, ICU, or OR

• Experience using Meditech preferred
