Pharmacist - Travel - Outpatient/Clinic

Location: Tahlequah, OK

RPH on the go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient/Clinic Pharmacist to join a dynamic team in Tahlequah, OK. This night-shift role requires expertise in reviewing charts, dispensing medications, and ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care in a clinic environment.

Duties:

• Review patient charts for compliance, drug interactions, and therapy appropriateness.
• Analyze appointments, labs, x-rays, and other pertinent data to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Address and escalate any issues to supervisors as needed.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and determine necessary ingredients and formulas.
• Compound medications by accurately weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Supervise pharmacy workers involved in mixing, packaging, and labeling medications.
• Provide customers with drug interaction information, side effects, dosage, and storage instructions.
• Maintain pharmacy files, inventory, and charge systems by entering patient and medication data.
• Organize and plan daily pharmacy workflow for optimal efficiency.

Schedule/Shift:

• Four 10-hour shifts (4x10's)
• Night Shift

Requirements:

• Oklahoma State Pharmacist license
• Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association not required).

Program Systems Utilized:

• Script Pro (training available).
• McKesson.
