Travel Clinical Pharmacist - Gardnerville, NV

A critical access hospital in Gardnerville, NV is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time, 13+ week temp-to-perm assignment. This position supports a 25-bed hospital with inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical services, including an Infusion Center that handles biologics and chemotherapy.

Duties:

• Fill and dispense medications for both inpatient and outpatient care

• Verify and interpret physician medication orders

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication profiles

• Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use

• Manage controlled substances and investigational medications

• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday through Friday

• 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Occasional weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday)

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

• Active Nevada Pharmacist License

• Current BLS Certification

• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience OR completion of a pharmacy residency

• Acute care experience preferred

• Proficient in USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
