Travel Contract- Retail Pharmacist- Wrangell, AK

RPh on the Go is hiring a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week travel contract in the picturesque town of Wrangell, Alaska. This assignment offers the unique experience of working in a close-knit community with beautiful surroundings. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with no weekends required.

Position: Retail Pharmacist
Location: Wrangell, Alaska
Term: 13-week contract, starting ASAP
Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday (no weekends)

Duties:

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness, resolving any issues with prescribers and documenting all clinical activities.
• Verify finished prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and maintaining required documentation.
• Provide clear, accurate patient counseling on medication use, indications, and expected outcomes.
• Conduct chart reviews for refills, medication therapy management, and make recommendations to providers.

Requirements:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in any state.
• 2+ years of recent outpatient or retail pharmacy experience.
