Are you an experienced hospital pharmacist looking for your next travel opportunity? RPh on the Go, is seeking a dedicated and clinically driven pharmacist to join a reputable healthcare facility in Montana. This full-time role offers a combination of inpatient hospital responsibilities with occasional support at a connected retail pharmacy.

Schedule:

  • Hospital: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (On-call coverage required outside of shift)

  • 40+ hours per week with potential for overtime

  • Retail Pharmacy: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM 1:00 PM (may float as needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver full-spectrum pharmaceutical care in both hospital and retail pharmacy environments.

  • Review, verify, and dispense medications for patients across the ER, ICU, OB, surgical, and med-surg units.

  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient treatment plans.

  • Monitor medication therapies, adjust treatments based on patient responses.

  • Provide education on medication therapies to patients and healthcare staff.

  • Manage medication inventory and maintain regulatory compliance.

  • Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding tasks.

  • Occasionally assist in the retail pharmacy with patient prescriptions and counseling.

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain quality standards across operations.

  • Support initiatives to improve patient safety and medication management hospital-wide.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Montana Pharmacist License required.

  • Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience required.

  • Proficiency with EPIC systems required.

  • Must be able to work day shifts, handle on-call responsibilities, and float to retail if needed.

  • Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality patient care essential.
