Travel Hospital Pharmacist Oregon (13+ Weeks Temp to Perm)

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Hospital Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Coquille, Oregon. This is a 13+ week position with the potential to go permanent. The hospital is expanding, and the current Director of Pharmacy (DOP) is in need of an experienced pharmacist to support the growing demands of the department.

Position Details:

• Location: Coquille, OR
• Term: 13+ weeks, potential for temp to perm
• Shift: 1st shift, 8:00am 4:00pm
• Software: Cerner and Pyxis

Job Duties:

• Review and interpret medication orders for both inpatients and outpatients.
• Prepare and check medications before distribution to clinics, offices, and ambulance services.
• Provide medication counseling to patients upon discharge.
• Inspect pharmacy inventory to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Oregon Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Acute care hospital experience is preferred.
• IV compounding experience is a plus but not required.
