We are seeking a committed, experienced pharmacist with a passion for inpatient care. Whether you re a recent PGY1 graduate, a pharmacist with retail experience, or someone with substantial inpatient experience, we d love to hear from you. What You ll Bring:
- For New Grads: Completion of an inpatient PGY1 program is required.
- For Experienced Pharmacists: At least 2+ years of inpatient pharmacy experience is a must.
- Candidates with extensive retail pharmacy experience (5+ years) post-PGY1 will not be considered.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $146K $189K, based on experience
- New grads (PGY1) will be at the lower end.
- Pharmacists with 5-10 years of inpatient experience will fall in the middle.
- Experienced pharmacists with 20+ years will be at the top of the range.

- Housing & Relocation: Due to Sitka s small-town nature, housing is limited. While relocating, consider that finding a large home may be challenging.
- Travel Expenses Covered: The client will arrange and cover all travel costs for the interview, including flights, housing, and a rental car. Your visit will include time to explore Sitka and experience everything the town has to offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, interactions, allergies, and potential adverse effects.
- Provide expert consultation and resolve any medication-related concerns with the prescriber.
- Offer patient counseling to ensure understanding of their medications and potential outcomes.
- Participate in clinical activities, quality control, and ongoing improvements within the department.
- Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations while providing drug therapy recommendations.
Requirements:
- Active Pharmacist License (any state).
- 2+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (or PGY1 for new grads).
