Travel Pharmacist for Peridot, AZ (ER experience)

Job Title: Travel Pharmacist with ER Experience
Location: Peridot, AZ

Assignment Terms:

• Duration: 13+ weeks
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Overview:

• Volume: High-volume pharmacy, handling 1000 prescriptions per day
• Program System: ScriptPro Program Management System with SP200 Robot; transitioning to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Automated Medication Dispensing System: Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADC s), Carousel, and Kirby Lester counting machine

Essential Functions:

• Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement outcome measures and tracking systems to improve financial and operational efficiency.
• Lead the development and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assess program effectiveness and drive continuous process improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to staff for professional growth and to meet performance standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of professional pharmacy experience, with at least two years of management experience preferred.
• Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred, including completion of a 1-year residency.
• 2+ years of experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
• Current and active state unrestricted Pharmacy license; Arizona state license preferred.
• AHA/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
• This job is open to new graduates with PGY1 and/or PGY2 with some ER experience
