Position Details:

• Location: Denison, IA
• Setting: Hospital
• Start Date: As soon as possible!
• Duration: 13-week contract with the possibility of temp-to-hire
• Schedule: Mainly 4 days of 10-hour shifts per week, with occasional weekend shifts
• Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification
• Supervision of pharmacy technicians
• Consulting with physicians and nurses
• Pharmacokinetics and medication therapy management
• Ensuring quality and accuracy in patient care

Ideal Candidate:

• Must hold an Iowa pharmacy license (or be eligible for a temporary IA license)
• Previous hospital experience is preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner is a plus
