Job Description:
RPh on the go is seeking a qualified Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience who are looking to advance their career in a leadership role. The PIC will oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory guidelines while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians, cashiers, and support personnel.
• Oversee the procurement of pharmacy supplies, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
• Accurately measure, prepare, and dispense medications, ensuring compliance with all prescription requirements.
• Manage staffing functions, including the recruitment, hiring, and training of new pharmacy employees.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1+ year of experience in retail pharmacy.
• Must hold a clear and active Texas (TX) pharmacy license.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is a plus, but not required.
