Travel Pharmacist (Outpatient Clinic/Hospital) - Tahlequah, OK

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity in Tahlequah, OK. This role is available for travel or local candidates and involves working in an IHS outpatient clinic/hospital environment.

Schedule: 4x10's night shifts
Responsibilities:

• Review patient charts for compliance, drug interactions, and appropriateness of therapy.
• Assess appointments, labs, x-rays, and consults to ensure appropriate drug therapy and raise concerns with supervisors when necessary.
• Verify accuracy of prescriptions issued by authorized prescribers, including determining formulas and ingredients needed.
• Compound medications using standard formulas and oversee pharmacy staff in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Provide drug information to customers regarding interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Enter data into pharmacy systems to maintain records, inventory, and charges.
• Organize and manage daily workflow within the pharmacy.

System/Software:

• Script Pro (training available)
• McKesson

Requirements:

• Active and clear Oklahoma State Pharmacist license.
• Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology.
• BLS certification (does not need to be AHA-certified).
