Travel Retail Pharmacist Full-Time Contract | 13 to 26+ Weeks | Sidney, MT

We are actively recruiting a Retail Pharmacist for a full-time contract opportunity in Sidney, Montana. This position is with an independent hospital-owned pharmacy located adjacent to a facility offering ER, OB, ICU, and OR services. This is a great opportunity to work in a stable, integrated healthcare environment.

This role specifically supports the retail/outpatient side of the pharmacy and is separate from the inpatient pharmacist hiring already underway.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 or 26+ weeks (based on your availability)

• Location: Sidney, MT

• Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM 1:00 PM

• Setting: Retail/Outpatient Pharmacy (hospital-affiliated)

Primary Duties Include:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy law

• Educate patients on medication usage, potential interactions, and side effects

• Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and support daily operations

• Maintain compliance with all Montana Board of Pharmacy and federal guidelines

Qualifications Required:

• Current, active Montana Pharmacist license (unrestricted)

• Minimum one year of outpatient or retail pharmacy experience

• Willingness to work full-time, including Saturdays

• Ready to begin as soon as credentialing is complete

Interview Process:

• First-round interview with HR (virtual)

• Second-round interview with Pharmacy Leadership

• A potential third interview may be required depending on qualifications and fit
