Position Overview:

As a Day Shift Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and support staff to provide top-notch pharmacy services, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide comprehensive patient counseling.
• Verify and review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Manage inventory levels and order medications as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and interns.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• NE State Pharmacist license
• 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Non-Sterile Compounding experience is a plus but not required (training available)
