Weekend Pharmacist in Southgate, KY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to work part-time weekends at a facility in Southgate, Kentucky. This is an ongoing contract opportunity for a pharmacist who thrives in a long term care or mail order experience and is available to commit to regular weekend shifts.

Schedule:

• Saturdays: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

• Sundays: 11:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and dispense prescriptions

• Counsel patients on medications and general health inquiries

• Maintain all required documentation for controlled medications

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards

• Collaborate with physicians and resolve prescription-related issues using proper reference materials

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Kentucky Pharmacist license required

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or mail order setting

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
