Our History

At RPh on the Go, we have a history of always looking to the future. We were founded more than 40 years ago by pharmacy professionals who saw a need for a pharmacy staffing agency that understood the unique nuances of the pharmacy industry. We wanted to transform pharmacy staffing into something more specialized and more efficient. Today, that continues to be our focus. Every day, we’re constantly looking ahead, innovating, and changing with the industry to stay ahead of trends and maintain our position as the longest-tenured, unrivaled leader in pharmacy staffing.

1980

Started by a pharmacist as a pharmacy relief agency for independent pharmacies.

1985

Expanded to provide coverage to retail chain and hospital pharmacies.

1992

A stronghold for helping pharmacies in the Midwest.

2004

Expanded nationwide, providing pharmacy coverage to the public and private sectors in all areas of pharmacy.

2005

Awarded #17 in the Crain's Largest Women-Owned Business in the Chicagoland area list.

2002

Awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Contract with the U.S. General Services Administration to provide pharmacy coverage to government facilities.

2008

Acquired by larger business who is invested in helping RPh grow so they can help even more pharmacies and pharmacy professionals.

2020

Launch of the RPh on the Go App.
