Assignment Specifics:
Full-time
8+ weeks temp to perm
Shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm

Job Duties:
Reviews patient medical and pharmaceutical records and monitors for efficient drug therapy, drug interaction, adverse drug reactions, contraindication, allergies, and sensitivities.
Interprets and performs order entry functions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
Serves as pharmacology consultant, a patient advocate, and a fiscal conscience to the healthcare team while providing clinical services to meet the needs of patients/care providers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
Monitor and/or prepare sterile IV admixtures or solutions.
Perform clinical profile reviews to assess safety and accuracy of medication services; coordination of patients pharmaceutical needs with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses.

Requirements:
Active Pharmacist license in the state of North Carolina
At least 1+ years experience in an Inpatient or Home Infusion Pharmacy setting preferred.
1+ year experience with IV compounding
