Director of Pharmacy (Interim) - Louisiana
RPh on the Go is actively seeking an interim Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a Critical Access Hospital in Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced inpatient pharmacist looking for a leadership role in a small hospital setting.
Facility Details:
- Staffed Beds: 25
- Daily Census: 2-3 (Max 5)
- Staffing: 1 Pharmacist, 1 Technician
- Order Entry System: CPSI
- Automation System: Omnicell
Schedule:
- Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- On-call is required
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations while also handling staffing duties
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Manage medication dispensing and verification
- Perform IV compounding (no chemotherapy)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
Requirements:
- 3+ years of PIC experience
- 5+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- IV compounding experience required (no chemo)
