Clinical Pharmacist Job Description

Clinical Pharmacist Job Requirements
To become a clinical pharmacist, many employers expect prior experience in the pharmacy industry, along with one to two years of residency. Most states require a master’s degree or Pharm D. in Pharmacology or a related field. You should also possess a current license from the state in which you practice. Duties:
- Monitor and evaluate drug therapy
- Monitor lab results for changes in organ function
- Recommend drug dosage adjustments
Requirements:
- Oncology Pharmacy Experience
- Experience working Inpatient hospital settings
- Louisiana Pharmacy License
- Board Certification in Oncology is preferred but not required
Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
