Retail Pharmacist Contract - Enosburg, VT
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Pharmacist to join our team. If you are a highly motivated individual with a Vermont pharmacist license and a minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience, we invite you to apply for this position. As a Retail Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients and ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide counseling and education to patients on medication use and potential side effects
- Verify prescription orders for completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont Pharmacist License
- Minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
