Clinical Pharmacist in Blackwood, NJ

An opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to provide overnight pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting. This contract assignment, based in Turnersville, New Jersey, involves working a 7 on/7 off schedule overnight. The position is ideal for pharmacists with inpatient experience seeking a focused role supporting patient care during night shifts.

Location: Turnersville, NJ
Schedule:

• Overnight Shift: 8:00 PM 7:00 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off
  Term: 13-week maternity leave coverage
  Start Date: Mid to end of November (including training)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medication orders
• Perform final verifications on prescriptions to ensure safety and accuracy
• Manage Pyxis machine refills efficiently
• Collaborate with clinical teams to maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license required
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is essential
• Compounding experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
• Recent pharmacy graduates with inpatient rotation experience are encouraged to apply
