Home Infusion Clinical Pharmacist - Brockton, Massachusetts
Deliver expert clinical pharmacy support in a dynamic home infusion setting, specializing in IV and infusion services for patients with acute and chronic medical needs. This PRN Staff Pharmacist role offers the opportunity to engage closely with healthcare teams while ensuring the safe and effective delivery of infusion therapies.

Schedule / Hours:
- Initial training: 4-8 days on site to learn EMR system
- Ongoing PRN coverage: 2 days per month with flexible scheduling
- Required coverage for July 6-10 and July 13-17
- Shifts: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process physician orders; verify insurance benefits
- Perform sterile compounding and maintain cleanroom operations following USP 797 standards
- Dispense medications and infusion-related supplies accurately and safely
- Maintain meticulous patient and pharmacy records in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support staff
- Manage assigned patient caseloads and provide pharmacist coverage as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License in good standing
- Minimum of 1+ year pharmacy experience; 2+ years clinical pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience in infusion therapy and sterile compounding preferred
- Strong knowledge of USP 797 sterile compounding standards required
- Excellent communication, multitasking, time management, and critical-thinking capabilities
