IV Sterile Compounding Clinical Pharmacist - Coatesville, PA

This opportunity is for a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to contribute expertise in a specialty compounding pharmacy setting. The role involves preparing sterile and non-sterile compounded medications while ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The position is based in Kennett Square, PA, with a 13-week contract-to-hire term.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound sterile and non-sterile preparations following master formula worksheets
• Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Maintain compliance with USP standards and other relevant guidelines for compounding
• Execute cleaning and garbing policies according to company procedures
• Perform calculations, complete documentation, and operate production equipment with precision
• Utilize correct aseptic techniques and prepare work areas thoroughly before production
• Monitor technical and computerized equipment to uphold quality standards
• Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify accuracy, purity, and potency of compounded medications
• Stay current with new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies
• Engage in professional development to enhance compounding pharmacy practices

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Recent experience in pharmacy practice
• Demonstrated sterile compounding proficiency is required
• Open to new graduates

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (shift assignments vary)
