IV Sterile Compounding Clinical Pharmacist - Coatesville, Pennsylvania

A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Kennett Square, PA. This role is essential in ensuring the safe, accurate preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications following strict regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations accurately in accordance with master formula worksheets.
• Implementing and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and ensure patient safety.
• Ensuring compliance with USP guidelines related to sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Performing required calculations and documentation.
• Operating production equipment in line with company policies.
• Maintaining aseptic techniques and preparing work areas thoroughly prior to production.
• Monitoring computerized equipment to uphold quality standards.
• Conducting quality control tests and inspections to verify medication accuracy, purity, and potency.
• Staying current with new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies through continuous learning.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Recent pharmacy experience.
• Experience in sterile compounding is required.
• New graduates with relevant training and experience are encouraged to apply.
