Clinical Pharmacist (Home Infusion) - Dallas, TX

An Infusion Pharmacy in Dallas, TX, is seeking a full-time, Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. This role focuses on hands-on sterile compounding and requires expertise in preparing and dispensing medications according to standard formulas and protocols. The position offers a day shift schedule, 40 hours per week. This is a Direct-Hire position (no contract period).

Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week), Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.
• Prepare, fill, and compound medications using sterile compounding techniques such as weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy files and inventory by entering patient and medication data.
• Generate drug usage reports for pharmaceutical partners.
• Perform Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) reporting in compliance with state regulations.
• Organize pharmacy activities to meet patient and physician needs while adhering to best practices.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance pharmacy services.
• Support and update company policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
• Engage in quality assurance programs to ensure patient safety and effective drug therapy.
• Assist leadership with compliance to State and Federal pharmacy laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Licensed Texas Pharmacist in good standing (additional state licenses are advantageous)
• Required USP 797 sterile compounding experience
• Required infusion/IV therapy experience
• Intrathecal experience is a plus
