Exciting opportunity for a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join a specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA. This contract-to-hire position offers a dynamic environment where precision, patient safety, and compliance are priorities. Ideal candidates will have experience in sterile compounding and pharmacy operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality compounded medications.

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring accurate preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications in line with master formula worksheets.
Implementing and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
Complying with USP and related compounding guidelines to guarantee medication safety and efficacy.
Performing thorough cleaning and garbing protocols according to company standards.
Conducting precise calculations and maintaining accurate documentation.
Operating production and computerized equipment to support quality assurance.
Utilizing correct aseptic techniques in all compounding activities.
Preparing work areas before production to maintain sterile conditions.
Conducting quality control tests and inspections to verify compounded medication accuracy.
Staying current with emerging compounding methods, formulations, and technologies.
Engaging in ongoing professional development within compounding pharmacy practices.

Qualifications:

Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
Recent pharmacy experience with a strong background in sterile compounding.
Open to new graduates with relevant training and enthusiasm for compounding pharmacy.

Schedule Options:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM 7:00 PM (may be assigned)
