Per Diem Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist | Guston, Kentucky

This opportunity seeks an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient hospital services on a per diem basis. The role is set in a small critical access hospital with a 25-bed capacity, providing essential pharmacy care in an intimate healthcare setting.

Location: Guston, KY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, June 22nd - June 26th
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Oversee and monitor pharmacy technicians in their duties
• Manage medication cart fills ensuring proper stock and accuracy
• Handle Pyxis dispensing system to maintain seamless medication distribution

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Kentucky pharmacy license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge with demonstrated ability to work well with others in a healthcare team environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
