Per Diem Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist in Hardinsburg, KY

This position supports PRN inpatient pharmacy needs at a small critical access hospital with 25 beds, providing essential pharmaceutical care during typical census levels of 8-15 patients. The role is based in Hardinsburg, KY, with scheduling Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM during the period of June 22nd to June 26th.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify medication orders to ensure patient safety.
• Oversee and monitor pharmacy technicians in their daily tasks.
• Manage medication cart fills efficiently.
• Operate and manage Pyxis dispensing systems.
• Maintain strong clinical pharmacy knowledge to support inpatient care.

Qualifications:

• An active and clear Kentucky pharmacist license is required.
• Minimum of one year recent experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent clinical knowledge relevant to hospital inpatient pharmacy.
