Clinical Pharmacist - Hayes, VA

A 4-8 week contract opportunity is available for a pharmacist to provide coverage at an inpatient behavioral hospital in Williamsburg, VA. This role offers the chance to apply and expand your skills within a focused inpatient care environment, supporting patient medication needs during a leave coverage period.

Responsibilities:

• Verify electronic medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and pre-package medications for timely distribution.
• Manage and refill the Omnicell automated dispensing system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some flexibility.
• Full-time at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license in good standing is required.
• Previous hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Willingness to be trained if lacking direct inpatient experience.
