IV Compounding Clinical Pharmacist in Houston, TX

Join an established pharmacy team in Houston, TX, as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in non-sterile compounding. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, providing a balanced workweek to support professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee non-sterile compounding operations ensuring compliance with USP standards.
• Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions specifically for compounded non-sterile medications.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain quality and accuracy in compounding processes.
• Maintain documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

• Valid and active pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a 503A compounding pharmacy, retail compounding pharmacy, or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of USP standards related to non-sterile compounding.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
