IV Sterile Compounding Clinical Pharmacist - Jonesboro, Arkansas

A Clinical IV Pharmacist position is available for a 3-6 month contract to hire opportunity located in Jonesboro, AR. This role focuses on delivering expert clinical pharmacy services with a keen attention to sterile IV compounding and medication verification in a hospital setting. The position is designed for a pharmacist with strong clinical skills and the flexibility to support various pharmacy operations as needed.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every third weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders accurately and promptly
• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications in the clean room environment as required
• Utilize clinical expertise to interpret laboratory results and make informed decisions
• Perform additional clinical pharmacy duties to support patient care and medication safety

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of current experience as an IV pharmacist
• Active, unencumbered Arkansas pharmacist license
• Clean background check and drug screening compliance
• Strong clinical acumen with the ability to analyze lab data effectively
• Flexibility to assist in multiple areas within the pharmacy department
