A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity. This role focuses on ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications in strict compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations for accuracy against master formula worksheets
• Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Ensure compliance with USP guidelines and other state and federal regulations applicable to sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Oversee cleaning and garbing procedures to meet company standards
• Perform necessary calculations and maintain detailed documentation
• Operate and monitor all production and technical computerized equipment in accordance with policy
• Utilize appropriate aseptic techniques during compounding processes
• Prepare work areas thoroughly to support efficient and sterile production
• Conduct quality control testing and inspections to confirm medication purity, potency, and accuracy
• Stay current on new compounding methods, formulations, and technologies through ongoing professional development

Schedule Options:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM OR 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM 7:00 PM (may be assigned)

Qualifications:

• Current PA Pharmacist license required
• Recent pharmacy experience, with a strong focus on sterile compounding
• Sterile compounding experience is mandatory
• Open to new graduates ready to start their compounding career
