Hospital Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist in Mc Clave, CO

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in inpatient hospital care to support pharmacy operations in McClave, CO. This direct hire role focuses on overseeing pharmacy activities, supervising pharmacy technicians, and ensuring accurate IV compounding. Ideal candidates will have strong hospital inpatient pharmacy experience and a commitment to maintaining high standards in medication preparation and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations within an inpatient hospital setting
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Perform IV compounding following USP <797> and <800> standards to maintain sterile and hazardous drug safety
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for patients
• Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Colorado pharmacist license
• Proven experience as an inpatient hospital pharmacist
• Proficiency in intravenous compounding techniques, including adherence to USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise pharmacy technicians
• No criminal background issues, including DUIs

Schedule/Hours:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday or similar hours
